Being able to draw is the basis of any good artwork. You don’t have to have a natural talent, it can be a learnt technique. Join artist Hettie Rowley for our one day drawing class and learn the fundamentals of drawing including tone, line, form and composition. You will also learn about perspective and proportion, two very important elements in mastering drawing.

Hettie will share with you all the different mediums and surfaces for drawing, and demonstrate why drawing is important for all artists and how to use drawing as a study for painting or for an artwork in itself.

We will be putting all the tips and techniques learned in the first part of the day into practice by doing a small Still Life for you to take home in the afternoon.
