Still life offers an opportunity to find beauty in the ordinary. From flowers and fruit to ceramics and carefully arranged objects, I enjoy exploring the relationships between colour, light, texture and form.

For me, it's as much about the pleasure of painting these subjects as it is about capturing the quiet beauty of everyday things.
