Portraits and figurative work have always been an important part of my art. I'm fascinated by the individuality of people — the expressions, gestures and subtle details that make each person unique.

Working in pastel, charcoal, graphite and other mediums, I aim to capture more than just a likeness. Whether it's a carefully observed portrait or a more expressive study of the human figure, I'm interested in the character, mood and story behind the subject.
