Commission a Portrait
Whether it’s someone you love, a much-loved pet, or simply a moment you want to hold onto, I create individual portraits from your photographs. Each portrait is individually drawn or painted by me, with the time and attention it deserves.

People. Pets.
Memories.
A commissioned artwork can capture a person, an animal or a particular time in your life. I work from your photographs to create an original piece that is personal to you — not simply a copy of a photograph, but an artwork with its own character and presence.
People
Individual portraits, couples and family groups, from intimate head-and-shoulders studies to larger, more detailed compositions.
Pets
Portraits that capture more than appearance — the expression, character and little quirks that make your animal unmistakably yours.

Choose the size that suits you.
From a small, intimate portrait to a larger statement piece, commissions are available in a range of sizes and media.
A5 Small Portraits
A lovely option for a single person or pet, particularly a head-and-shoulders portrait. Small enough to be intimate, but with plenty of room to capture character and likeness.
Looking for something larger?
Larger commissions offer more room for detail, additional subjects and more complex compositions. They are available in graphite, charcoal, soft pastel, watercolour and gouache.
Ideal for a detailed single portrait or a simple two-subject composition.
More room for detail, multiple subjects or a more developed composition.
A substantial artwork suited to larger portraits, groups and more complex compositions.
Prices shown are a guide. Final pricing depends on the medium, number of subjects and complexity of the artwork. I’ll confirm the full price with you before work begins.
Tell me what you have in mind.
You don’t need to have everything worked out. Tell me a little about the person, pet or subject you’d like me to paint, and I’ll get back to you to discuss the possibilities.
