HOW TO COMMISSION ME TO DO A PORTRAIT

You may call or email me to discuss your idea for a person or pet portrait. Alternatively you may fill in the form provided below the image and I will get back to you.
I will give you advise on how to choose the image or images. It’s always easier to work from photographs that are in focus.
You can follow THIS link for tips on how to choose a photo.

We will discuss the following on a phone call:

•             Size:  What size do you like the work to be?

•             Medium: What medium? Graphite. Charcoal, Soft Pastel, Watercolour or Oils

•             Time: When do you need it by?

What happens then?

  • You send me an image or images via email.
  • I will send you an invoice based on our discussion. 
  • I require a 50% non-refundable deposit which must be paid before I do any work.
  • Once the deposit is paid, I will start the painting.
  • If required I can send work in progress photos.  Adjustments can be made up to a certain point. 
  • The balance of the invoice plus any postage is due when you are happy and sign off on the final iteration.
  • The painting will be carefully packaged (by me) and sent through Australia post to your address.
